Forever Flowers

The Petaloo Promise

Forever Flowers

Flowers that never wilt, never need water, and never ask to be replaced. You build them by hand, once. Then they stay.

The average bouquet lasts five days. That leaves a lot of the year looking at an empty vase.

Forever Flowers vs Preserved Roses, Dried Flowers and Silk

The term gets used loosely, so here is the honest version. There are four ways to make a flower outlast a week - dried, preserved, silk, and built - and they are not the same thing.

Dried flowers
Real flowers, dehydrated. They hold their shape a year or two, then crumble. Colour fades in sunlight.
Preserved roses
Real roses treated with glycerin. Genuinely long-lasting, one to three years. Expensive, and still organic matter.
Silk and plastic
Permanent, cheap, and immediately recognisable as fake. They gather dust, and nobody built them.
Built flowers - what we make
Precision pieces you assemble yourself. Nothing organic, so nothing to fade, wilt or decay. And the building is half the gift.

What Each Rose Colour Means

Rose colour has carried meaning for centuries. Each guide explains the symbolism, then shows you the bouquet that never fades.

Frequently asked

How long do forever flowers actually last?
Indefinitely. There is nothing organic in them to decay. Keep them out of direct sun, dust them occasionally, and they look the same in ten years.
Are these the same as preserved roses?
No. Preserved roses are real roses treated with glycerin and last one to three years. Ours are built from precision pieces and do not degrade at all - but they are built, not grown.
How do they compare to dried flowers?
Dried flowers are real flowers dehydrated. They hold their shape for a year or two, then grow brittle and crumble, and the colour bleaches in sunlight. A built bouquet has nothing to dry out, so it does not change.
Are they just silk or plastic flowers?
No. Silk and plastic flowers are moulded in one piece and read as fake immediately. These arrive as separate precision pieces you assemble yourself - petals, stems, leaves and centres - which is why the finished bouquet has real depth, and why building it is half the gift.
Do I need glue or tools?
No. Every piece clicks into place and the illustrated guide shows where each one goes. No glue, no tools, no mess.
How long does a kit take to build?
Around 40 minutes for the smaller potted kits, and 3 to 5 hours for a full twelve-rose bouquet. It is meant to be an evening, not a chore.
Is a vase included?
No. The stems are adjustable and designed to sit in any vase you already own. Several of our smaller kits come with their own display base.
